Barry Avenue's Case Study
As Customers Expand South of the Border - So Will Barry Avenue Plating
Los Angeles, CA – Barry Avenue Plating Company announced it is establishing a twin location a few hours south in Tijuana, Mexico.
The many Aerospace and Medical device manufactures are pleased to welcome Barry Avenue Plating to Baja California. Having a Nadcap certified plating company will drastically reduce lead times because items will no longer have to cross the border North and South. Nadcap certified plating can be done locally.
We already have several customers in the region and we expect to gain even more given the large Aerospace cluster. For Barry Avenue it is good business to be near our customers, according to Barry Avenue's President, Chuck Kearsley.

Barry Avenue prides itself on providing quick turnaround times at the highest quality levels given its Nadcap, AS 9011 and ISO 9002 certifications.
We plan to replicate the same certification and compliance standards in our Tijuana facility and the infrastructure in Tijuana is world-class and we have had no problem finding highly skilled workers with plating expertise, states Cruz Maldonado VP of Operations for Barry Avenue.
Barry Avenue selected San Diego based Co–Production International (CPI) as their Administrative Services (Shelter) Provider in Mexico.
Co-Production is a key player in Baja California; they are guiding us through the set-up of our Tijuana operation. Their project team is hands-on and because they have done this for hundreds of companies the process is quicker and more cost efficient. Co-Production even assisted us in evaluating the market potential and lined up several new customers for Barry Avenue in Baja California. We are entering Mexico with confidence because of our relationship with Co-Production.
